Dim sum and milk tea – A typical breakfast in China, on the go, on the street. One piece of culture I can’t adapt to: I’d rather have bacon and eggs, and, coffee and tea. Either. Or.

I’ve picked up a horrible habit of eating something sweet for breakfast, but coffee is always a must.

Shawn: My breakfasts used to be black coffee and cigarettes. Now, I’ve added yoghurt.
For me, breakfast is the hardest meal to adapt to in other countries. When we were in St. Petersburg, for instance, the breakfast buffet included rice, cucumber and tomato salad, pickled herring, and macaroni. All (except pickled herring) are things I like; none are things I want to eat for breakfast, however.
Bacon, eggs, and coffee: delicious.
I like the new layout, Stevo!
Also, I’ve tagged you.

Theresa: Herring for breakfast doesn’t sound appetizing. Luckily, noodles are also a popular breakfast in China, and who doesn’t like noodles?
Anners: Why must I be tagged? Did I wrong you in a previous life? Just joshing. I will comply.
Dim sum I can deal with. Milk tea? Bleh.
I like to eat dinner for breakfast.
Make that trip to India. You would go crazy clicking! What we eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in-between is mind boggling… even to me!

Jax: I don’t know. There’s some pretty scary dim sum? Entrails dumplings for breakfast? Nay, I say.
AJ: I really want to visit.
That looks sooo good….there’s just something about impulse purchases of comfort food on the streets on the go that brings back great memories!
And as usual, great photo!
Of course I say good based on imagining that the contents are steamed pork buns or rice rolls…entrails…not so much. 🙂
