Ahoy, mates.
I arrived safely in London towne and spent the day doing the usually touristy things. My journeys were cut short due to a lower GI problem. Great-Grandmother Stevo once said that, “Cheese is more binding than a wedding ring.” There is truth is in this homespun nugget of wisdom. Eating a pound of Brie by one’s self isn’t compatible with good intestinal health.
Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Chinatown: I can now say, “Been there. Done that.” There are lots of free things to do in London if you look around.
Tonight I’ll be taking part in London Walks tour entitled: Jack the Ripper Haunts. A night of ghoulish fun, I’m certain. After a century it will only take me two hours to solve the case, to much acclaim and fanfare. I will be famous to more then six-year-old Chinese students.
Thursday sees me start my 20 hour trek back home. I miss China. I appreciate her more now that I’ve spent three weeks among capitalist roaders.
More when I return to The Middle Kingdom.

Hopefully they won’t add a new tour along the lines of Stevo’s water closet haunts…

Everything in moderation my dear Stevo…I wonder if they’ll let you smuggle cheese back to China…
The Jack the Ripper tour sound neat! That’s something I would sign up for, definitely!
Have a fun time. Stay away from the cheese.

Ron: If I was staying I would suggest that as a new walk. Could be interesting…
Allison: No, the seize cheese at the border. I’ve seen it happen, not pretty.
Corina: Once I return to China it will be cheese no more.
Carrie: It was a complete blast. More to follow.

I ended up laughing at Ron’s note and can’t remember what I was going to say. At least there are plenty of public loos in London. I should’ve sent you to Notting Hill to try out the designer loo with its flower stall.
The tour sounds like fun. Good luck solving the case.
