let it snow

Christmas in China can be a strange occasion. There’s no eggnog, turkey, or other customs Westerners would regard as traditionally yuletide-ish. The main pastime sees young people attack each other with spray snow. The public area of my apartment development was littered with empty cans of the noxious stuff. The youth would spray the cans empty, then run to the store for more.

    Looks like fun! I’d rather have the spray stuff than what we’ve had, if it’s in the quantities of what we’ve had here!

  2. I suppose it’s not very environmentally friendly! But it sure looks like fun, and as Corina said, we’ve had quite enough of the real stuff lately.
