bring the pain

on

Guangming, a sub-district of Shenzhen, China,  is famous for two things: Fried young pigeon (which is very tasty) and grass skiing. Strapping wheeled skies to your feet is not the stevo’s idea of fun. Instead, he documented the occassion, and the pain.

A Canon EOS 40D and 6.5 frames per second does come in handy. When most young men wanted a fast car, I wanted a motor drive for my camera.

Ouch! I’m with you on this one. Documenting rather than doing. Less pain that way, usually.

That looks like a lot of fun. I never have been skiing yet even on the snow.

Two of my kids were snowboarding this past weekend and oh how I wished for a motor drive. I did use that a fast frame setting but was laughing too hard so they are all out of focus shots. That’s still funny though, right?
