He started the year with the name Ned. (although he introduced himself as Med.) For some reason the Grade 2 boys decided to change their names mid-way through the year. Ned became Tim. His class was passed to a colleague a few months back, but I still received bear-like hugs from the boys daily (as bear-like as can be expected from wee Grade 2 lads).
