hong kong dawn

dawn cross

I captured this while roaming around Yau Ma Tai (Hong Kong). Dawn is a great time for photography, you get a chance to see things rarely seen. And, it’s not blistering hot. Click the image to see a larger version.

Dedicated to to Shawn at Brain Clutter.

aside: I’ve been a bad blogger as of late. Real life has limited my time in the blogosphere. When the end-of-school-year madness is over in a week or two, I’ll get back to reading my faves.

Wow! I’ve never had anyone dedicate any to me before. Very cool.

Great shot too! It feels quiet and peaceful, like nothing could really stir it up.

The golden hour, dawn. 🙂 I need to start getting up earlier.

Beautiful shot. It looks a little slick, and serene.

They say sunrise and sunset are the best times to take photos because of the soft lighting.

Shawn: I saw the scene and thought of you.

Wanda: Isn’t Orly making a moving in Hong Kong? He injured himself jumping in and out of a filing cabinet?

Robin: Getting up early is a curse of mine. I try to put my time to good use.

Matt: True. Also the intensity. Light at midday is harsh and unflattering.

You have no idea how huge a complement that is, ((Stevo)).
